1964 Impalla SS V8

The image of a 1964 Impala SS V8 for sale was enlarged to life size from a 1x3 inch advertisement found in the Bay Area Classifieds newspaper. The image was mounted on wood and placed outside in several parking spots including areas where community members park their cars with the intention of selling them. In essence, my project served as unauthorized extra advertising for the seller. It was also a way of relocating or juxtaposing one public object and its environment into another public environment and its objects.
